The perfect scone.
Two halves – warmed
Raisins and currants.
Jar of cream.
Jar of raspberry jam.
Roadside caff in Pimlico.
Cup of frothy coffee.
Three new books.
Warm sun.
Taxi back.
A quiet evening.
Send your thoughts to Tehran, whatever mess you’re in it can’t be as bad as the mess that Achmanismad has put them in.

Hallo Jeni
Have you read The Bookseller of Kabul by Asne Seierstad?
You will view every single freedom we woman in the U.K. have, in such gratitude once you have read this book.
It changed my outlook on life drastically.
I urge our little “club” to give it a try.
Love the show, it makes me laugh, think, rethink my views, and most importantly it feeds my soul.
Well done you.
Love June
Well that description of scones just made me blow my diet! Whipped up a batch after drooling and ate 2 with cream and jam! Can’t find that is the slimming world book ..ha ha
My favourite book is The Final Confession of Mabel Stark by Robert Hough, don’t usually recommend books but this one is great (bit rude in places) about the female tiger trainer with Barnum.
Love ya
Marmite xx
Hi Jeni
What a wonderful bunch of listeners you attract, and that’s all down to you.
Did you ever believe you would be hosting a radio program and so successfully, when you left Good Food Live?
Meant to be Jeni, meant to be!
Hope all is well with Kirsten. Thinking of you Kirsten and sending my very best wishes.
Love June
