a stolen moment.

Boxing day, Sunday the day after the one before.
HAPPY FESTIVITIES to you all.
I shall write a proper blog when there’s a reduction of bodies in the house.
If you are ill, get well soon.
If you are full; stop eating
If you are drunk; enuff already.
If you are lonely, I hope we can spread some good cheer.
If you are working – lucky/unlucky you…
If you are cold, hungry, and in need of sustenance, I hope it comes your way soon.
To ALL of my lovely, loyal bloggers, I shall get back to you soon. It’s been manic but ok.
I’m off downstairs now to wipe up yet more spilt wine, broken glasses and second helpings. I hope your day has been good.
Bare with me please, or should that read bear with me,whatever hang in until soon.

  3. I have lived in Crowborough for 24 years after stumbling across this town after living a few years with my husband in the Wells. How very very lucky we are living and raising our children in such a wonderful place. Walking our dogs across the Ashdown Forest at the weekends. The joy of the weekend treat at the ice cream van at Kings Standing. Having children educated within our local system. This is after trying not to sound off at those certain Yummy Mummies determined to get their little ones into the GRAMMARS IN KENT )
Looking back …. I would never ever had our path of life for my children any different. They have flourished with their early experiences and absorb their time and memories when they both return to Crowborough.
We were lucky parents able to raise our children in such a unique place.
    Just a thought.

  4. Dear Jeni! Lovely to hear from you once again!! i take it Christmas in your house was a Joyous affair with lots of celebratory drinks as you said you had to clear up lots of broken glasses! Next time tell them to celebrate like the russians do and chuck the glass into the fireplace so no one can toast with the glass again!! Also easier to clean up! its nice now the snow has melted and just light rain that has melted the ice in Putney Heath etc. i hope its better where you are Jeni?? My Cousin in Malibu California has had nearly two weeks of rain in Biblical proportions! the ground floor of the beach house has been flooded by gallons and gallons of water comming in at the back and then flowing out the front onto the terrace and decking and running down the 10 steps onto the beach and soaking into the sand and he is very distraught as a lot of mud from the parking lot and garden has also flowed through the house. Thank God he is insured as it will cost a Kings ransome to fix the place up. as i know the builders and decorators really sting the malibu Colony Residents as most are so wealthy! Well Jeni thats my news I want to wish you and yours a most wonderful new year! have a Great Party with the family!! All my Love to you Jeni from darkest Putney Heath! Terry xx

  5. Good post. I be taught something more challenging on completely different blogs everyday. It’ll at all times be stimulating to read content from other writers and apply a bit one thing from their store. I’d favor to use some with the content on my weblog whether you don’t mind. Natually I’ll offer you a hyperlink in your net blog. Thanks for sharing.
