Number 2.

Had the gentlest of driver this morning. I meditated in the back until we arrived at Egton House.
He said he only worked for the BBC and all the people were lovely. Well i can’t spoeak for all of them but the ones I work with are fab.
Arrived by 7.15, feeling clean but phased.

Set up Grieving, on the back of Susannah York and my sister-in-law.
You callers were very helpful and kind.
Ms Feraday did the newspapers and Amanda Ross was my eleven o’clock guest.
You know anything to do with books and I drool. Ms Ross made me slobber.
Walked from The Beeb to Sloane Square, did ten minutes on the 19 bus. Met Gods Gift at ‘The Woodman.’
Which was empty.
We had sausages and mash, peas, gravy and Yorkshire pud. and I had half a Guinness. I woke up and hour ago!
Clearly I needed to sleep, thank God for Carbs eh?
Watched the documentary on Pete Postlethwaite again. I loved that man.
Then a little supper and BED. to sleep, for at least TEN HOURS.
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  3. Dear Jeni! firstly i must send you all my Sympathy for the loss of your dear sister in law! You and Jim must be feeling really sad at this time and i send you my Deepest Condolences to you both. I hope she never suffered badly before her passing? and im sure your Army of Bloggers will all agree with me when i say that All our hearts go out to you with our deepest love Jeni.
Its wonderful to hear you back on the Radio with Auntie Beeb! we are all rejoicing jeni ! You can be sure of that! My friends and i went to Woodford on Saturday and no sooner had we checked into our Hotel for the night than the Heavens opened and the rain was torrential with thunder and lightening. i think you cought some on your way to the hospital Jeni! anyway later we went up to the Castle inn harvester on Woodford Green and we had a nice meal. but the family at the next table were in for a shock when the hubbys chair suddenly broke and the wood went flying everywhere and he ended up under the table with an ear shattering crash he got up gingerly clearly shocked and had to fill in an accident form before being given a new sound chair! we all felt so sorry for him.
Then we walked across woodford Green to The Sir James Hawkey Hall and sat in our seats row c to watch the WOADS Pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk! oh it was wonderful we laughed till our sides nearly split. they are all amatures but they put on such a great show each Jan and we never miss it. we went back to our hotel afterwards and in the morning after a wonderfull full english breakfast we got the 2 tubes and a train home to putney Heath. having thouroughly enjoyed ourselves!
Have a great week Jeni!and a Great week to your Army of faithfull Bloggers! Love Terry X
