Cobra nights

Don’t know I how I managed yoga this morning but I did.
Did the standing postures. I am not very good with them.
Then the lying down taking a rest poses.
Then we did the cobra. On your front, bend your back, all sorts of pulling here and there and the teacher said ‘Well done the girl in the blue shorts’
Don’t know whether it was the girl or the shorts. But I put my nose in my towel and cried.
Of course the blue shorted bint was me.
Clearly I need an audience.

Went outside and there was the lovely Gemma Arterton getting cool on the bench.
We keep meeting in unlikely places.
I like her.
Back to the flat, Jim mended his bike, he dropped it on Wednesday, and I drove to the Kings Road to buy a crystal for the computer. I wear me Q-link, and a bracelet, but I still get dizzy and sick if I sit in front of the computer for too long.
I bought a triangular quartz which I am cleansing in a bowl of salt on the balcony.
I had to go to the Square to buy a box of sea salt so that I could put it in the bowl to cleanse the crystal….
Was meant to go to the theatre tonight but had to cancel, awaiting news on my sister-in-law who isn’t well.
Funny time.
It’s 10.10 the news is on. Can I bare to watch it? More wretched weather reports.
I think I may need to go to bed and read.
That’s it.
I’m going to read Christopher Fowlers ‘Paper Boy’ he is funny.
I have another class tomorrow. And then I have to sign on for a new course. Of course I do….I shall wear the same blue shorts so that the teacher recognises me, only it’ll be a new teacher tomorrow. A girl. Today was a bloke with a sense of humour which really helps when you are tying yourself in knots in 300 degress centigrade.
phew

  1. I so want to try Bikram yoga, wish I could find a class near me. Stick with it Jeni, I’ve heard nothing but good about it & I bet you rock those blue shorts.
I’m hoping there will be good news regarding your SIL very soon, it’s horrible for all of you.
    Hugs.

  2. Hmm wonders where all the comments have gone? I know you could not sit still so you tidied them away xxhugxx
