Winter Wonderland – rewrite

Sleigh bells ring, can you here ’em?
In the bath and the bedroom,
They sing ding-a-long.
A merry old song.
Waiting for a winter wonderland.
I’m agog at the spending.
Just one day, we’ll be spending.
Prostate on the couch,
A night with the grouch.
Sleeping off a winter wonderland.
In the forest you can build a wig-wam.
Make it in the shape of Father Ted.
You’ll be mad to spend it in the wig-wam.
You’d be better off reclining in your bed.
Later on we’ll perspire.
As we slouch by the fire.
Cracking our nuts.
And butting no buts.
Recovering from our winter wonderland.
One more show then I’m chilling till January 4th when I do a voice over for double-glazing.
Now that’s a good way to start the new year, in the warm, in the clear and in the window.
